News November 2010

We have had a number of our physiotherapists return from significant sporting events:

• Tall Blacks World Championships - Bryce Ebben (College Rifles Clinic).
• Dehli Commonwealth Games: Ariane Caroll (Bairds Road Clinic) & Charleen Silcock (Manukau & Bairds Road Clinics) with the Cook Islands Team; Ulima Tofi (Pasifika Clinic) with the Samoan Seven's Team; Brooke Williams (West Wave Clinic) played for the Samoan Netball Team; and Jordan Salesa with the NZ Commonwealth Games Team.  Fun was had by all with all of our physiotherapists reporting that the Indian's did a great job of the games despite what the media may have portrayed.
• Manu Samoa European Tour - Matt Taylor (Manukau Central Clinic) has left with the Manu Samoa Team to Japan then the UK

ACC & Physiotherapy

About a year ago ACC made some very significant changes.  Essentially they reduced the amount they contributed to your physiotherapy treatment.  

As a result of these ACC changes most physiotherapy clinics now must charge  a small co-payment for Physiotherapy treatment (when on ACC).

This is just a reminder to let all our sporting groups, rest homes, community organisations & all our your family and friends that physiotherapy services & treatment as a result of an "accident" is still very much available.  

We still provide the same services utilising our 12 locations, excellent facilities and top notch staff.
